When a scene is alive / When a scene dies 🟨🖊
My definition of a scene is the community around a set of ideas.
When everyone is pushing those ideas in different directions it’s the most exciting.
When people are focused on the scene and it’s inner politics and what is and what isn’t the ‘idea’ it loses that magic of the possibility of what the future can hold and many of its most creative minds will move on.
I’ve seen this many times in communities big and small ✌🏾
